1. Introduction

Welcome to Sara Thailand Travel ("Sara", "we", "our", or "us"). These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of our website, services, and travel packages. By accessing our website or booking our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

Sara Thailand Travel is a travel service provider specializing in curated travel packages from India to Thailand. We act as an intermediary between you and various travel service providers including airlines, hotels, and local operators.

2. Booking and Payments

2.1 Booking Process

  • All bookings are subject to availability and confirmation
  • Booking is confirmed only upon receipt of full payment
  • You must provide accurate and complete information during booking
  • You must be at least 18 years old to make a booking

2.2 Pricing and Payment

  • All prices are in Indian Rupees (INR) unless otherwise stated
  • Prices include applicable taxes unless specified otherwise
  • Payment must be made through our approved payment gateway (Razorpay)
  • We accept credit cards, debit cards, net banking, UPI, and EMI options
  • Prices are subject to change without notice until booking is confirmed

2.3 Booking Confirmation

Upon successful payment, you will receive a booking confirmation via email containing your unique booking reference, itinerary details, and important travel information. This confirmation serves as your receipt and proof of booking.

3. Cancellation and Refunds

3.1 Cancellation Policy

Cancellations must be requested through our Manage Booking portal or by contacting customer support. Refunds are processed according to the following schedule:

  • 30+ days before travel date: 90% refund of package amount
  • 15-29 days before travel date: 75% refund of package amount
  • 7-14 days before travel date: 50% refund of package amount
  • Less than 7 days before travel date: No refund

3.2 Refund Processing

  • Refunds are processed within 5-7 business days of cancellation approval
  • Refunds are credited to the original payment method
  • Bank processing times may cause additional delays
  • Processing fees are non-refundable

3.3 Force Majeure

In case of force majeure events (natural disasters, pandemics, war, government restrictions), we will work with service providers to offer alternative dates or refunds as per applicable policies.

4. Booking Modifications

  • Modifications are permitted up to 7 days before travel date
  • Changes may include travel dates, duration, hotel category, or number of travelers
  • Modifications are subject to availability and price differences
  • Additional charges apply if the modified booking costs more
  • Refunds for price reductions are processed per our refund policy
  • Some modifications may be treated as cancellations with rebooking

5. Travel Requirements and Responsibilities

5.1 Documentation

You are responsible for:

  • Ensuring passport validity (minimum 6 months from travel date)
  • Obtaining necessary visas and travel permits
  • Carrying all required travel documents
  • Compliance with health and vaccination requirements
  • Checking and adhering to destination country regulations

5.2 Travel Insurance

Basic travel insurance is included in all packages. This covers medical emergencies, trip cancellations, baggage loss, and flight delays as per policy terms. You are encouraged to review coverage and purchase additional insurance if needed.

5.3 Health and Safety

  • Inform us of any medical conditions or special requirements
  • Carry necessary medications with proper prescriptions
  • Follow local laws and customs at destinations
  • Maintain appropriate behavior respecting local culture

6. Service Limitations and Liability

6.1 Third-Party Services

We act as an intermediary and are not liable for services provided by third parties including but not limited to airlines, hotels, transport operators, and activity providers. Any disputes regarding third-party services should be addressed directly with the service provider.

6.2 Limitation of Liability

  • Our liability is limited to the total amount paid for the package
  • We are not liable for indirect, consequential, or incidental damages
  • We are not responsible for delays, changes, or cancellations by service providers
  • We are not liable for loss of personal belongings or documents
  • We are not responsible for acts of God, war, strikes, or government actions

6.3 Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold Sara Thailand Travel harmless from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your breach of these Terms, violation of laws, or negligent or wrongful conduct.

7. Intellectual Property

All content on our website including text, graphics, logos, images, and software is the property of Sara Thailand Travel or its licensors and is protected by intellectual property laws. You may not:

  • Copy, modify, or distribute our content without permission
  • Use our trademarks or logos without authorization
  • Create derivative works based on our content
  • Use our content for commercial purposes

8. Privacy and Data Protection

Your use of our services is also governed by our Privacy Policy. By using our services, you consent to the collection, use, and sharing of your information as described in our Privacy Policy. We are committed to protecting your personal data in compliance with applicable data protection laws.

9. Dispute Resolution

9.1 Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of our services shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of courts in Mumbai, India.

9.2 Arbitration

Any dispute not resolved through mutual discussion shall be settled through binding arbitration under the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996. The arbitration shall be conducted in English in Mumbai, India.
